Local Archives & Record Lookup
Not every historical record has been digitized or made available online. I provide in-person research at local archives, courthouses, libraries, and historical societies to locate records such as birth documents, probate files, land deeds, and newspaper articles—helping bring your family’s story to life.

Each lookup includes:
-
Careful document retrieval
-
Digital copies (when available)
-
Full source citations following genealogical standards

Turnaround Time:
Most requests are fulfilled within 1–2 weeks, depending on archive access and volume. Rush services may be available for an extra fee upon request.

Service Area:
Lookup pricing covers repositories within Steuben County, as well as the surrounding counties of Livingston, Allegany, Chemung, Schuyler, Yates, and Ontario.

Additional mileage or parking fees may apply for locations beyond this area.
